Check out groups on RANKING page. You have to play your matches until saturday. Don't forget to idle #warsow.cup to find your opponents.
And the last thing: DON'T FORGET that everyone is going to play in playoffs. Two best players from each groups will play in I-am-good bracket, rest in I-am-newbie bracket, so all of you should prepare for sunday.

Yes, I know I'ma a jackass I'm trying to create new WarSow cup. Whatever :).
Ta-daaam! iHATEmondays cup - warsow duel weekly tourney - is officially announced. The point of this tournament is:
a)set up new cup since there's no newsow so there's no 1-day cups with less than two players which we all love so much;
b)make some movement in warsow community;
c)have fun?
Rules are as simple as your brains. It's not just 1-day cup - it's 1-week. Depends on amount of sign ups, players will be divided for 2, 4, 6 or 8 groups and there they will play group matches from monday to thursday. Three last days of the week you all should drink alcohol and play single-elimination bracket. I said: "all", because two best players from each group will qualify to I-am-good Bracket, and the rest will play in I-am-newbie Bracket.

27.10 - 31.10 - group phase
27.10 - 1st group match
28.10 - 2nd group match
29.10 - 3rd group match
30.10 - delayed matches
31.10 - delayed matches
01.11 - free day (because it's all saint's day)
02.11 - both brackets (I-am-good and I-am-newbie)
As you can see, you have only a few days for sign ups. Anyways I think more than 8 players wouldn't join this cup, so the time is enough. Now something stricte about cup:

Gametype: duel
Format: best of three * / best of five (both grand finals)
Mappool: wdm3, wdm5, wdm6, wdm10a, wdm15, aciddm2, 36dm1_b2
IRC: #warsow.cup
best of three means, that if after 2 maps score would be draw, players should do cointoss. Than winner is removing one map from mappool. His opponent does the same, than he's doing it again etc etc as long as there's one map in mappool - the one they will play as a decider.
everybody should idle #warsow.cup - there must be place where you can find your opponent and it's not so obvious that he's on #warsow :)
each player is supposed to record a demo and make screenshots of his tournament game to sort out any problems.
